two-wheeled soothsaying

the other day as i was walking in the sun through cambridge town centre, toward the market, i overheard two women talking (quite loudly. One of them said to the other:

'Oh, you don't care?'

then the other one (or it might have been the same woman, i forget):

'I don't care that much.'

- after which a man on a bicycle appeared stage right, who, as he wobbled past, said

'Nobody cares.'

before disappearing into the distance.

...it was great.
