saw beirut last night in london. sadly, not as good as last time i saw them.  they lacked energy. and enthusiasm.  and incidentally zach has put on weight and now looks like the guy from keane.  

they played 'nantes' first. they didn't play 'guyamas sonora', my favourite.

think i might go to the cinema tonight to combat the feeling of shitty helplessness that one gets when one is poorly.
